Graphic Design by Chuck Braman
The development of my graphic design skills began in
1986 when I designed the graphics and layout for my self-published book
"Drumming Patterns." Since then I have developed professional
level skills in digital photography, page layout, typography, and web
site implementation. Click here to read a letter of recommendation concerning
my work from Peter Meister of Porter Novelli, or here to read a very nice letter of praise from the
production editor at Prentice Hall, Michael Steinberg.
My hardware includes a Dell Inspiron 3500 laptop with an Intel Mobile
Pentium II 266 Mhz processor, a 6.4 GB hard drive, 128 MB of
SDRAM, a 56K modem, and a DVD drive; a Hewlett Packard ScanJet 6300C
Scanner with a slide adapter; a Zip drive; a 3Com 10/100 LAN PC card;
and an Epson 440 inkjet printer.
My software includes Adobe InDesign 1.0, Adobe Photoshop 5.5, Adobe
Illustrator 8.0, and Microsoft Office 2000 Premium Edition. I'm an Adobe
Certified Expert in Photoshop 4.0 and Illustrator 7.0.
I am able to work both on-site (my computer is a laptop equipped with
a network card) or off-site via phone, fax, web and modem. In addition,
I am also available by phone for consultations regarding hardware,
software, and educational issues. I can be contacted at chuck@chuckbraman.com or
