Please note that this portion of my personal website, completed in 2000, has been superceded by a new professional, website completed in 2005, New York Multimedia & Design.

The development of my graphic design skills began in 1986 when I designed the graphics and layout for my self-published book "Drumming Patterns." Since then I have developed professional level skills in digital photography, page layout, typography, and presentation and web site design, including Flash animation and Flash video. Lately I've expanded from design to multimedia, with the ability to edit film (for an example, see my website nycjazz.com, which features several films of my bands), and compose audio soundtracks for animation and film (for an example, visit my drumstrokepublications website), Click here to read a letter of recommendation concerning my work from Peter Meister of Porter Novelli, or here to read a very nice letter of praise from the production editor at Prentice Hall, Michael Steinberg.

My hardware includes a Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop with 1024MB of RAM, two external 80GB hard drives, a cable modem, a CD-RW DVD-R drive, a Cannon MultiPASS MP730 Printer-Copier-Fax-Scanner, and a Fuji M603 digital camera.

My software includes InDesignCS, PhotoshopCS, Adobe IllustratorCS, Flash MX 2004, Dreamweaver MX 2004, Fireworks MX 2004, Freehand MX, Premier Pro 1.5, After Effects 6.5, Audition 1.5, Encore 1.5 and Microsoft Office 2003. I'm an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop 4.0 and Illustrator 7.0 .

I am able to work both on-site (my computer is a laptop equipped with a network card) or off-site via phone, fax, web and modem. In addition, I am also available by phone for consultations for instruction. I can be contacted at (212) 989-5281 or by email at chuck@chuckbraman.com.
